  • Your Ingame Score: 114
  • Have you ever been banned before? If yes, please provide details:
No
  • Are you willing to undergo training and follow the guidelines set forth by the SAPD leadership for roleplaying as a police officer?: Yes

  • RP (Roleplay):
Roleplay refers to the act of assuming a character and immersing oneself in a fictional world or scenario. In a roleplay context, participants interact with each other and the environment as their characters, following predetermined rules and guidelines to create engaging narratives and experiences. RP allows individuals to explore different personalities, motivations, and storylines, fostering creativity, collaboration, and imaginative expression.
  • PG (Powergame):
Powergaming involves manipulating the game mechanics or rules to gain an unfair advantage over other players or characters. This can include forcing actions upon others without their consent, ignoring the limitations of the game world, or acting in a way that disrupts the immersive experience for others. PG undermines the principles of fairness and cooperation in roleplaying environments and can lead to conflicts and dissatisfaction among participants.

  • MG (Metagame):
Metagaming occurs when a player uses out-of-character knowledge or information to influence their in-character decisions or actions. This can include using knowledge gained from forums, chat channels, or previous interactions to make decisions that their character wouldn't realistically know about. MG disrupts the immersion and integrity of the roleplaying experience, as it blurs the line between player and character knowledge, undermining the authenticity of interactions and narratives.
  • IC (In-character):
In-character (IC) refers to actions, dialogue, or events that occur within the context of the fictional world or setting of a roleplaying game. When participants are in-character, they are assuming the persona of their character and interacting with others as that character would, adhering to the established rules and conventions of the game world. IC interactions drive the progression of the story and allow players to explore their characters' personalities, motivations, and relationships.
  • OOC (Out of character):
Out of character (OOC) refers to actions, dialogue, or discussions that occur outside of the context of the roleplaying game's fictional world. OOC communication typically involves players interacting as themselves rather than their characters, discussing game mechanics, planning strategies, or engaging in socializing unrelated to the game. OOC communication is essential for coordinating gameplay, resolving disputes, and fostering a sense of community among players.
