  • RP (Roleplay): Role-playing involves embodying the feelings and experiences of a character. For instance, a character might be depicted as enjoying a coffee they have purchased. This practice allows players to express their character's emotions, actions, and responses in a dynamic and engaging manner.
  • PG (Powergame): Powergame refers to the act of exerting authority or control over other players, particularly in situations involving rule violations. This behavior often undermines the collaborative spirit of role-playing, as it prioritizes dominance over fair and balanced interactions.
  • MG (Metagame): Metagaming is associated with free-roaming and involves interacting with other players based on prior knowledge of their identities, rather than strictly adhering to the role-play scenario. In this context, players do not need to pretend they are unfamiliar with one another, as they would in a traditional role-playing environment.
  • IC (In-character): In Character refers to the state in which a player is fully engaged in role-playing. During this time, the character should behave in accordance with their assigned role. For instance, if I am portraying a police officer, I must act in a manner that reflects the responsibilities and conduct of that role as if it were real life.
  • OOC (Out of character): Out of Character refers to a state in which players are free to engage in activities outside of their roles. When in an OOC state, individuals are not required to adhere to their character's actions or behaviors, allowing them to engage in whatever activities they choose within the game.

Oath to join the Department:
I, John Stockholm, solemnly swear to uphold the laws and regulations of the San Andreas Police Department, to serve and protect the citizens of San Andreas with integrity and dedication.
